Wedding: Cassy & Vincent 11/06/2009
Ok, so I'm sometimes asked if I take getting ready shots of the groom too. Perhaps because I don't often include those
shots in my blog. Absolutely I do! Here are a couple of Vincent. He was looking very dapper if I may say so!
Cassy and Vincent decided to see each other before the ceremony. As I have said many times before, I love it when
my brides and grooms elect to do this. It makes it a lot easier to get more great photos of just the two of them. Often
this time before the ceremony can be used to take group shots and other family formals. To help create that WOW
factor of them seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day, I set up a build up whereby I arranged for
Cassy and Vincent to see each other with their parents, bridesmaids and groomsmen looking on. I then go about
capturing their first reactions as they both get a first glance at how great they look! I think it can make for some
fantastic photos and my couples who do this tell me it is always worth their time.

First let's check in with Cassy. Wow, looking good girl!!! Vincent is going to be amazed!
Does Vincent look pleased? Indeed he does. I think this photo says it all.
I don't know what I was doing wrong, but at some point during the reception the wedding party no
longer cooperated with me to take their photos. It was almost as if they thought I was some kind
of wedding crasher paparazzi with a camera! :)
Cassy and Vincent live in Arizona and chose to get married here in beautiful San Diego. I am sooo glad they did!
They were married at the North Chapel in Point Loma CA. They had a romantic and intimate wedding and during
the ceremony, Vincent sang a beautiful song to his soon to be bride Cassy. It was the first time at a wedding I had
seen a groom do this. As if grooms aren't already nervous enough, right? Not Vincent he was cool as a cucumber
and he has an amazing voice! Seeing them and their family together you can definitely feel the love they have.

After the ceremony, they had an amazing reception at the Admiral Kidd Club, which went on late into the night. It
was a fabulous wedding and I was so honored to have been able to share the day and capture photos they will
remember for a life time. Enjoy some favorite images from their day!
