Wedding: Cindy & Jeff
Cindy & Jeff were married at the fabulous Grand Tradition in Fallbrook CA. The location is top notch and
everything is in place to make this an extraordinary venue for weddings. I have to say, I absolutely love
shooting weddings there. The staff is very professional and there was the sense they really love what they do
there. During the ceremony Cindy & Jeff released butterflies which was very interesting and a challenge to
photograph. Their ceremony started in the late afternoon and the reception went on late into the night. It was
definitely one of my more memorable weddings indeed.
Cindy & Jeff wanted to wait until the ceremony to see each other. Yet, they wanted
something to remember the excitement and anticipation of the "moment" when Cindy
walked down the aisle and Jeff saw her for the first time. Cindy had this neat idea to
create this shot of the two of them behind the door. This turned out to be one of their
favorite shots from the wedding.
I caught this moment of Cindy and her bridesmaids as they left the dressing room and
headed outside for a pre-cermony portrait session.
One of the unique features at the Grand Tradition is the horse drawn carriage. Cindy
rode around the lake and arrived at the ceremony. She stepped off the carriage and was
really able to achieve that "fairy-tail" look to her grand entrance and walk down the
aisle. We were able to utilize the carriage for some special moments following the
ceremony. Here are a few shots.
A gorgeous and dramatic shot of Cindy & Jeff as they made their entrance into the reception.
Amazing cake display!
I created a series of shots like this using an off camera strobe fired with my Pocket
Wizards and a slow shutter speed to burn in the ambient lights on the mansion. I asked
Cindy & Jeff to remain perfectly still to get sharp crisp results.
A fabulous send off for what was an awesome ending to an amazing fun filled
wedding. Thanks Cindy and Jeff for allowing me to be part of your special day!
Love ya!!
